You keep these on your dining room table? Are they next to the suturing implements? LOL Only in a doctor's home :) Nicely done macro!
Guest 07-Sep-2006 23:58
Ouch:-) thanks Joan
Cindi Smith07-Sep-2006 23:52
Would never have guessed. I thought it was some sort of shears.
joanteno07-Sep-2006 23:48
Ok.. This was a tough one. This is an hemostat, which is used in surgery to control bleeding. It is now being used to hold matches to light the candles on my dining room table!
Guest 07-Sep-2006 23:32
Hair tongs perhaps?
Eckhart Derschmidt07-Sep-2006 21:56
First I thought of tweezers, but what would they do "sitting on your dining room table"....
Guest 07-Sep-2006 21:53

Some kind of tongs?!
Guest 07-Sep-2006 20:10
hmmm...suppose one could use it as a hair clip, whatever it's real purpose is
Guest 07-Sep-2006 19:44
2 dull knives?
joanteno07-Sep-2006 19:05
Time for a hint - the original function involved contact with the human body.
Tomasz Dziubinski - Photography07-Sep-2006 18:51
Definitely nutcracker :)
Lee Rudd07-Sep-2006 18:13

The headache is getting stronger from pic to pic, and once again I have no idea.
Nicki Thurgar07-Sep-2006 17:00
Some sort of nut cracking device? Hmmm...
Guest 07-Sep-2006 14:18
those do serve many purposes...used mine as a crab cracker recently
Dan Chusid07-Sep-2006 14:12
Not very sharp are they?
Must clamp together for some nefarious purpose.
Faye White07-Sep-2006 13:24
hmmmm - pliers or a nutcracker?
very interesting!
Guest 07-Sep-2006 13:03

Katie Chew07-Sep-2006 12:57
A pair of tongs?
James Ross07-Sep-2006 12:52
First thought was Lobster claws until I read the clue. A pair of tongs??
Guest 07-Sep-2006 12:39
A pair of old keys maybe???
Sheila07-Sep-2006 12:38
First thought was a pair of nutcrackers but I think they're way to small for this.
